Sara Seager

Sara Seager initially came to the Institute as a postdoctoral fellow and Long-term Member in the School of Natural Sciences. She was a member of the group that made the first direct detection of infrared radiation from an exoplanet. Seager, who is the Class of 1941 Professor in the Department of Earth Atmospheric Sciences at MIT. She spends her time between theory of exoplanet atmospheres and novel concepts of space hardware for exoplanet research.
