Alexander Lubotzky Awarded 2018 Israel Prize
Alexander Lubotzky, Member (2005–06) in the School of Mathematics, has been awarded the 2018 Israel Prize by the Israeli Ministry of Education. Lubotzky, a leading researcher in group theory, is recognized for his original research in finite and infinite group theory, including topological, algebraic, and arithmetical groups. Lubotzky's work is influential in many fields, in particular expander graphs.
