Igor Klebanov is working on a broad range of problems in theoretical physics, including systems with large numbers of degrees of freedom and their dual descriptions. He has been interested in models which contain tensor degrees of freedom. He is also working on certain gauge field theories which exhibit transitions between color confinement and screening.
