Gabriella Coleman is finishing a book, ā€œCoding Freedom: The Pleasures and Ethics of Computer Hacking,ā€ that examines the intersections between liberalism, pleasure, and free and open-source software production. She has also started a project on hacker protests against the Church of Scientology and the role of disability in computer hacking.
