Membership Created in Honor of John Elliott

The Center for Spain in America, directed by José Luis Colomer, Member (1997) and Visitor (1998) in the School of Historical Studies, has created a John Elliott Membership in the School of Historical Studies. The membership, named in honor of John Elliott, former Faculty (1973–90) in the School, will support scholars focused on the history and culture of early modern Spain. Fabien Montcher, the first John Elliott Member, will receive support related to all aspects of academic appointment and community life that are unique characteristics to the Institute experience.
