IAS Scholars Named 2021 American Academy of Arts & Sciences Fellows

The American Academy of Arts & Sciences has elected 252 new Fellows, among them nine IAS alumni representing each of the Institute’s four Schools.

“The 2021 election provides an opportunity to recognize extraordinary people who help solve the world’s most urgent challenges, create meaning through art, and contribute to the common good from every field, discipline, and profession,” the academy stated.

The IAS scholars elected to the academy in 2021 are as follows:
