Francesca Trivellato

Natalie Zemon Davis, Member (1978) in the School of Social Science and one of the pioneering historians of her time and ours, died in Toronto on October 21 at the age of 94.

She is the author, most recently, of The Promise and Peril of Credit: What a Forgotten Legend about Jews and Finance Tells us about the Making of European Commercial Society (Princeton University Press, 2019).
