Shiva Mihan’s research is focused on the arts of the book and text transmission in 15th-century Iran. Her forthcoming book, Patronage and Manuscript Production in Timurid Herat, explores aesthetic and textual content of the manuscripts produced at the royal atelier of Prince Baysunghur in the first half of the 15th century.
