Katharina Heyden

Field of Study

History and Theology
Katharina Heyden researches the entangled and ambivalent histories and hermeneutics of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam and their respective 'pagans' in Antiquity and the Middle Ages. At the IAS, she will work on specific cases of "religious co-production" to write a book entitled "Co-produced Holiness: Masters & Martyrs, Mothers & Monks".
