Julian Chaidez is interested in symplectic topology, dynamical systems, low-dimensional topology and symplectic field theory. At the IAS, he will study the role of convexity in Reeb dynamics, the formulation of quantum 4-manifold invariants via trisections and virtual fundamental cycle methods in symplectic geometry.
