Jakob Hedicke is interested in contact- and symplectic geometry, and their interactions with mathematical physics, in particular with general relativity. At IAS, Hedicke will work on orderability phenomena in contactomorphism groups, topological properties of Weinstein manifolds, and the dynamics of Reeb flows in low dimensions.
