Dror Weil is interested in scientific exchanges across Asia and the various forms of localisation and naturalisation of knowledge on the natural world. At IAS, he will be working on a monograph that explores the archives of Arabic and Persian texts in early modern China and the unique scholarly practices that facilitated their study.
