Deb Raji operates at the intersection of computer science and public policy, specifically studying how artificial intelligence products interact with legal and institutional accountability processes related to functional harms. At IAS, she will work on a series of articles on the design and regulation of administrative processes for AI deployments in public interest settings such as government, healthcare and education.
