My work will focus on mathematical series texts, a homogenous corpus of 20 cuneiform tablets from Mesopotamia. Series texts are probably the most accomplished production of the Mesopotamian scholars in the art of list making. They raise a great number of crucial questions in various fields, namely linguistics, history, mathematics and historiography.
