Brad Bolman

Brad Bolman studies the history of science. His book, “Lab Dog: What Global Science Owes American Beagles” (https://labdogbook.com; https://press.uchicago.edu/ucp/books/book/chicago/L/bo245099854.html), traces the emergence of beagles as “laboratory dogs." While at IAS, Bolman is working on a history of mycology titled “Rotten Beauty.”
