Bruno De Nicola

Bruno De Nicola is interested in the cultural history of the Mongol Empire across Central and Western Asia (13th–14th centuries). While at IAS he will work on a book that examines processes of transculturation between Mongol conquerors and local elites, based on surviving manuscripts from the period.
