Former Member Receives Awards for Book Written at IAS

Ann McGrath, Member (2013-14) in the School of Social Science, has received two awards for her book, Illicit Love: Interracial Sex and Marriage in the United States and Australia (University of Nebraska Press, 2015), a piece she worked on during her time at the Institute. McGrath was awarded the New South Wales Premier's 2016 General History Prize and the 2016 John Douglas Kerr Award of Distinction in Researching and Writing Australian History.
