Institute Faculty and Members to Discuss New Era of Gravitational Wave Astronomy in Public Lecture at Institute for Advanced Study
Matias Zaldarriaga, Professor in the School of Natural Sciences, Scott Tremaine, Richard Black Professor in the School, and Members Doron Kushnir and Nadia Zakamska will discuss the recent Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) results and their implications on Friday, February 19, at 4 p.m. in Wolfensohn Hall. The panel discussion will be moderated by Robbert Dijkgraaf, Director and Leon Levy Professor. This lecture is free and open to the public.
