Didier Fassin Receives Honorary Degree from University of Liège

Didier Fassin, James D. Wolfensohn Professor in the School of Social Science, has been awarded the title of Doctor honoris causa by the University of Liège.

Nominated by the university's faculty in Social Sciences, Fassin is cited for “the contribution of his work to the study of public policies on health and safety and, more generally, to the understanding of social inequalities. Based on long-term research, his work provides critical insights that are essential for thinking about the issues at the heart of our contemporary world.”
