Former Member Appointed as Director of Hebrew University's Israel Institute for Advanced Studies

Yitzhak Hen, Member (2012–13) in the School of Historical Studies, has been appointed as Director of Hebrew University's Israel Institute for Advanced Studies. Beginning in June 2018, Hen will head the IIAS, a national institution devoted to academic research located at the Edmond H. Safra campus at Givat Ram. The Israel Institute for Advanced Studies was founded in 1975 to provide a nurturing and stimulating academic environment, championing outstanding scholarly research in a wide range of disciplines.
