Sharing Files With Dropbox

Invitation to IAS Dropbox Team: 

  1. Information on the IAS Dropbox Accounts can be found here
  2. To obtain an invitation for Dropbox, please complete the Dropbox Account Request Form
  3. Once the account is created, you will receive a link to Dropbox in your email

The link will take you to the following page:

  1. Click on the "Accept all" button on the lower right-hand side
  2. Then click on "Continue"


Logging In:

If you want to create, save, and share Dropbox files go to

  1. Use your IAS email for email/username: e.g.
  2. If you have not logged in with DUO yet, you will need to click the button,  "Continue with single sign-in"

How to Use Dropbox to Transfer Files, Folders, and Videos

Using the transfer feature, you can send multiple files and folders at one time.  Dropbox’s explanation and guide on how transfers works can be found here.  This webpage will guide you through the transfer process. To go directly to transfer go to

Initial Dropbox Transfer Site:

Click on the expiration date to set the "Expiration", "Password" and "Download notifications" then click "Done"

Then click "Create transfer"


Select your method for sharing

You will get the following screen when the transfer is complete

Download/Preview Shared Files:

When you are on the receiving end, an email will be sent to you stating that a file is shared with you. Click on the link in the email to preview the file. 


Here you can view the file, and if you want to download it you can do so by clicking the download button on the top right of the screen.
