Informal Phenomenology Seminar

Experiments for direct detection experiments are normally build around the assumption that dark matter-nucleon scattering dominates. If dark matter is leptophilic, this can lead to new effects, though. I will present an analysis of the possible signatures using EFT. As an application I will show that leptophilic DM (that matches onto EFT) cannot explain the DAMA/LIBRA signal.
