IAS Einstein Gala

Join us at the 2019 IAS Einstein Gala for an inspiring and enlightening evening honoring IAS Member and Trustee Emeritus Jim Simons, chair of the Simons Foundation. While you enjoy themed cocktails and dinner, we’ll take you on a voyage through the impressive history of IAS and some of the contributions of the world’s most brilliant minds. Dinner will be followed by post-prandial cocktails and dancing.

By attending the 2019 IAS Einstein Gala you are providing vital support for our Members who come from over 60 countries, adding important new perspectives on basic research that transforms the way we understand our world. Since its founding in 1930, the IAS has been completely supported by philanthropy and grants, and it receives no tuition or licensing and other fees. It simply exists to offer space for unobstructed, deep, and creative thinking that is now more important than ever.
