p-adic Analytic Geometry and Chromatic Homotopy Theory

Chromatic homotopy theory relates certain important questions in homotopy theory to the theory of formal groups.

Recent advancements in p-adic geometry can be thus used to study questions in homotopy theory. I will discuss how this connection comes to be and some preliminary results in this direction.
