Hybrid Generic Pipe Dreams for Lower-upper Varieties
There has been a lot of recent work connecting the two pipe dream formulae for Schubert polynomials (classic and bumpless). One strand is the hybrid pipe dreams of Udell and myself, giving 2n
different pipe dream formulae; an orthogonal one is the generic pipe dreams of Zinn-Justin and myself, which compute the equivariant cohomology classes of "lower-upper varieties" (whose definition I will recall), and recover the Schubert polynomials as leading terms. In this talk I'll unify these strands, giving 2n
hybrid generic pipe dream formulae and some Yang-Baxter equations they satisfy. This work is joint with Paul Zinn-Justin.
