Thomas Dodman
From 6/2018 – 7/2018:
Thomas Dodman is a historian of modern Europe. As a member of the Institute in 2016-17 he began writing a microhistory of a young soldier and his adoptive family in the age of the French Revolution (1790s–1820s). He is returning to the Institute in 2017-18 as a founding member of the History Working Group to continue research on the history of IAS.
