Sam G. Krupa’s work focuses on both the well-posedness and ill-posedness theory for conservation laws. His work falls broadly into two parts: studying the positive side of well-posedness and finding stability theorems, using the theories of shifts and a-contraction. On the other hand, he has recently been studying ill-posedness via convex integration.
