Pernilla Myrne is preparing a critical edition of the tenth-century erotic compendium Jawāmiʿ al-Ladhdha and examining its reception. The book, which relies on numerous earlier sources and was quoted for centuries, informs us about the circulation and development of ideas on sexuality in late antiquity and the medieval Islamic world.
