David Brydges has recently been working on the asymptotics of the end-?to-end distance of self-avoiding walks in four and more dimensions. He will use his time at the Institute to make progress on other approaches to the analysis of critical points, including the Sjoestrand Helffer convexity ideas used by Thomas Spencer.
