Most of Alex Eskin’s recent work is in the field of dynamical systems and is currently focused on finding analogues of some key results of homogeneous dynamics in non-homogeneous settings. In particular, Eskin is looking at dynamics on Teichmüller space, on K3 surfaces, and on character varieties.
