The Art of Collaboration: Spring 2026

At the Institute for Advanced Study, collaboration is not just an occasional practice but a living tradition.

For nearly a century, the Institute has brought together world-leading thinkers, fostering connections that range from intimate exchanges over tea—like those that led to the famous EPR paper on quantum entanglement—to global networks that have shaped fields as diverse as computing, art history, and astronomy.

This spring, a vibrant series celebrating the art of musical collaboration will take place at IAS, featuring five programs of artistic encounter from around the world. The series, hosted in Wolfensohn Hall, will comprise concerts, lecture-demonstrations, and conversations, featuring an array of acclaimed, international performers. From cross-cultural musical explorations to dynamic artistic dialogues, each program reflects the Institute's commitment to fostering discovery within the arts and beyond.

As in years past, the public is invited to join the Institute community for these varied and enriching experiences. More details about each program, and links to the video recordings, will be added as they become available. Please check back for updates.
