Dr. Romano is a specialist in Greek and Roman sculpture. Her research while at IAS is focused on a recently discovered group of Greek marble statuettes from a Parthian period (1st c. B.C.-1st c. A.D.) building at a a site in eastern Iraqi Kurdistan.
