Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) Colloquium
Spacetraveler's Manifesto: The Other-Worldly Career of Freeman Dyson
Freeman Dyson is not one man but ten. He has worked in many areas of physics research, with notable achievements in quantum, atomic, statistical, mathematical, and nuclear physics. As a member of the Jason consulting organization, he helped to invent what is now called adaptive optics. Dyson is a frequent writer on a wide variety of social topics, including the relation of science to religion, the prospective colonization of the solar system, and climate change. Any non-PPPL people interested in attending should see this site for more information: http://www.pppl.gov/about/visiting-pppl.
