Institute for Advanced Study - Princeton NetID request

Princeton University Library has offered to create Princeton NetIDs for Members and Visitors. Princeton's NetID account will allow you the ability to borrow or download chapters from resources such as Princeton's OverDrive collection of fiction and travel writing, as well as Ebrary's academic collection.

Princeton asks that you supply a cell phone number for use in the Duo Authentication system. You may instead utilize an office phone number, but be sure to click on a 90-day lease when using this option for the first time. The phone number will also be used by their emergency notification system.

If you would like to check on the status of your NetID request, please email the Institute librarians. You will receive an email from Princeton's Office of Information Technology (OIT) after your account has been created.

Have you previously had a NetID? Or did you ever apply to Princeton University?
For privacy's sake you may put in any date in the form, however you will need to remember it should you need assistance.
Princeton requires a phone number for their Duo, 2 factor authentication. If you do not have a cell phone, you may use your office phone number.
