The Tri-State Astronomy Conference at CUNY

The Tri-State area is home to one of the densest concentrations of astronomers covering all areas of research. This one-day conference aims to bring together this community to build relationships between neighboring institutions and make faculty and students aware of the expertise that can be found in our community. The conference will consist of six review talks on various areas of astronomy and a quick-fire session of one-slide/one-minute poster summaries. Registration is required, but free to participants in the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, CT). The registration deadline is Oct 14. For information please visit: http://www.astro.yale.edu/tristate/ .
