Solar Eclipse Viewing at Teatime

An incredible phenomenon is coming to a teatime near you: weather permitting, we will be seeing a partial solar eclipse on April 8. While it’s not the total solar eclipse some states will be getting, it’s still an amazing sight. We will be distributing ISO international standard viewing glasses beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Common Room. The eclipse is viewable from 2:09–4:35 p.m. with maximum coverage at 3:24 p.m.

This event is over capacity. Your IAS badge, and event registration, will be required to receive glasses and will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
