Concert and Conversation with The Renaissance String Quartet

The Renaissance String Quartet—composed of violinists Randall Goosby and Jeremiah Blacklow, violist Jameel Martin, and cellist Daniel Hass, and formed on the basis of over a decade of friendship at The Perlman Music Program and The Juilliard School—returns to the Institute for a concert and conversation. The program will be moderated by Benjamin Sosland (New England Conservatory, Juilliard).
Program:
- Mozart - String Quartet No. 14 in G Major, K. 387 - Andante Cantabile and Finale
- Brahms - String Quartet No. 2 in A Minor – 1st movement
- Florence Price String Quartet No. 1 in G Major – 2nd movement
- Daniel Hass’s String Quartet No. 1, “Love and Levity” - 1st movement
