EBEX: The E and B EXperiment

Detecting CMB B-modes remains an elusive goal for the CMB observation community. The feeble signal and foreground obscuration demand sensitive instruments with heretofore unattained levels of systematic error rejection. In this talk I will describe EBEX, a long-duration balloon-borne mission designed to measure or set stringent upper limits on B-modes from inflation.
