Princeton University Astrophysical Sciences Orientation

Hello! I hope your academic year has gotten off to a great start. We are once again planning for our annual department orientation, during which everyone gets 2 minutes to introduce themselves and give a brief overview of their work. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our newcomers, get reacquainted with everyone and find out what projects and interests everyone has. As you may remember, everyone is allowed just ONE overhead transparency (no laptop projections) and just TWO minutes to speak. If there is anyone I've inadvertently missed on this e-mail who should be included, such as researchers in affiliated departments, please let me know. The orientation this year will be Friday, October 12th, 2:00-5:00 p.m., in the auditorium in Peyton Hall. A reception will follow. Please confirm with me via e-mail whether or not you will be able to make it and give your two minute talk. (If you know you are only available for some part of the time, let me know as well, and I'll be sure to schedule you for a time you can make it.)
