Experiences in Science and Energy Policy
Jared Aldwin Crooks '11 M.P.A./M.Eng. *15, is an astrophysics graduate who has used his scientific and technical background to deal with issues of foreign and domestic science and energy policy. He has worked at NASA HQ in the Office of the Chief Scientist and Chief Technologist, to develop the NASA Solve Innovation Platform and develop a strategic 30 year plan for NASA's astrophysics missions. His prior work experience includes the National Academy of Sciences and NRG Energy company. Currently, he is a part of several startups including NOURI (social food venture nouribar.com) as well as an IT logistics platform for pharmaceutical development. He is a SINSI fellow through the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton.
