Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) Colloquium

Eagleworks Laboratories: Advanced Propulsion

The colloquium will discuss a pilot wave model used to predict the performance of a q-thruster test article, and the origin and history of the pilot wave line of thinking will be outlined. Analysis results of a pilot wave model of the hydrogen atom will be presented and discussed. The methodology and results from a vacuum test campaign documented in a forthcoming paper (Journal of Propulsion and Power) will be presented. The discussion will be extended to detail an interferometer experimental approach, some results will be presented, and forward work outlined. Any non-PPPL people interested in attending should see this site for more information: http://www.pppl.gov/about/visiting-pppl.
