The Eberly College of Science at Penn State has decided to expand the scope of its Institute for Gravitational Physics and Geometry, transforming it into the Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos. The IGC builds on the strong foundation established by the Institute for Gravitational Physics and Geometry over the past decade. The new institute will integrate the theoretical and observational research carried out in its three centers: the
Center for Fundamental Theory, the Center for Gravitational Wave Physics, and the Center for Particle Astrophysics. From quantum cosmology to new observational windows, we seek greater understanding of the universe and its extreme events. This inaugural conference is an opportunity for participants
to share their insights and to help set the course for our institute's new endeavors.
FOR REGISTRATION (AND FURTHER INFORMATION) PLEASE GO TO

We have made a special arrangement so that Penn State faculty and post-docs can also use the reduced student rate of $50. Therefore, please click on the "students" link when you register. This fee will cover break services as well as the banquet. Please note that because of constraints on seating capacity, it is essential that all participants register. Registered participants can also submit abstracts for contributed presentations.
