Join us for a screening of the film Common Sense of the Institute for Advanced Study on Thursday, February 29 at 12:00 p.m.. The film is a documentary history of some long-term staff at IAS who represent several generations of the same family. It explores these family connections, ties of some families to the same town in Italy, and the nature of the work performed to keep the Institute running—work that is often hidden or taken for granted by Faculty and Members. The film features interviews with Roberta Gernhardt, Michael Ciccone, Frank Mastroianni, Nick Lubrano, Renee Robinson, Mike Pascarella, Mike Mastroianni, Dario Mastroianni, Julianne Robinson, Susan Olson, Sam Venanzi, and Cole Hamer.
