Please join us for a conversation with Subhankar Banerjee, Director's Visitor (2011), his colleague Karl Jacoby, and Professor Maria H. Loh on the occasion of his exhibition "BioDiversity" which will be displayed in Rubenstein Commons Gallery from April 22, 2025 to April 3, 2026.

Subhankar Banerjee is a photographer, writer, curator, and environmental humanities scholar. His creative, curatorial, and scholarly efforts focus on biodiversity and climate crises, and on multispecies kinship, caretaking, and justice.

Karl Jacoby is a specialist in environmental, borderlands, and Native American history. His books include Crimes Against Nature: Squatters, Poachers, Thieves and the Hidden History of American Conservation and Shadows at Dawn: A Borderlands Massacre and the Violence of History.
