Printing
All School of Math office computers are pre-configured to print to various network printers around the academic campus and housing complex. A few items to make note of:
- For most School of Math office computers and users, the closest network printer to your office is configured as your default printer.
- Please note that US Letter paper size (8.5 inches wide by 11 inches tall) is the default paper size for all School of Math network printers. Please make sure to use this paper size when printing to any of the School of Math network printers. Failure to do so will cause the printer to be paused until human interaction takes place (e.g. the appropriate size paper is inserted into the printer, the paper size is reset at the printer, etc.).
- If you prefer to use your own personal desktop or laptop computer or device (e.g. tablet, smartphone, etc.) while at the Institute, please review the BYOD and mobile printing instructions.
Below is a list of our public network printers. As you will see, the printers are named by the letter of the building, followed by the floor number. For example, the printer on the 4th floor of Fuld Hall is f4. To print duplex, append the letter 'd' to the end. For example, to print a double-sided document on f4, send your print job to f4d.

Printing from your IAS Workstation
Printing from your IAS Workstation may vary from application to application. For the most part, you can type Ctrl+P and a print dialog will appear. You can then choose the desired printer from the list above. Otherwise, printing is usually found in the menu File -> Print, or Menu -> Print or something similar.
