Statement: Studying the 19th century history of capital shares: profit sharing, equity shares, and employee ownership in companies, also, worker cooperatives and broad-based proposals or programs for citizen asset shares, such as The Homestead Act. This continues the work of my book, The Citizen’s Share (Yale University Press, 2013).
