A Compendium of Logarithmic Corrections in AdS/CFT

Abstract: I will discuss the log(N) corrections to the Euclidean gravitational path integral in the context of the AdS/CFT correspondence for 3d SCFTs arising from N M2-branes. These corrections can be computed in 4d gravity using heat kernel techniques. For suitable ABJM-like 3d SCFTs with extended supersymmetry the gravitational results agree with QFT calculations performed using supersymmetric localization. These results have implications for black holes in AdS_4 which I will briefly discuss. I will also make some speculative comments on how our results may lead to new constraints on general EFTs coupled to gravity in AdS. Based on 2312.08909.
