Stucture in Gravitational Scattering Amplitudes in the Regge Limit
Abstract: I will introduce an effective field theory which describes scattering in the Regge limit in a systematic triple expansion in terms of t/s, Gt, and G^2st. Using the usual properties of the S-matrix, along with the emergent symmetries of the EFT, I will demonstrate how one can make predictions for higher order non-analyticities using the rapidity renormalization group. As an example, it will be shown that the logs that appear at fifth post-Minkowskian order, relevant to gravitational wave experiments, can be fixed from a one loop rapidity anomalous dimension.
