Benjamin Braun is Visiting Professor in the School of Social Science from 2026-28. He is leading the current theme year, "Emerging forces in global political economy." He works at the intersection of comparative and international political economy, with a focus on the political economy of money and finance. His current research interests include the interplay between monetary and fiscal policy, compensation versus mobilization as green political strategies, and the determinants of business elite discipline.
