How do I connect my laptop to eduroam? It's not working

Are you using your home institution eduroam?

If you are connecting to the Institute’s eduroam wireless network using your credentials from your home institution, please ensure that your credentials are correct. If you continue to experience issues, please contact your home institution for assistance, as there may be a problem with their authentication system or the password you are using.

If you are using your Institute credentials to connect to eduroam:

Please visit the Institute's Wireless User Guide webpage and follow the instructions for Configuring eduroam.

I already installed the geteduroam or CAT tool, and it is still not working. What do I do?

Please confirm the username and password that you entered into the geteduroam tool.  If they are correct, please remove the geteduroam tool and then reinstall it.

If you installed the CAT Tool, please remove the profile that it created for you and then reinstall it.

It is still not working. Now what?

Please check your DNS settings and remove any external DNS servers you have configured (e.g., 8.8.8.8, 208.67.222.222, etc.). Please write them down before you delete them, as you may need to put them back once you return to your home institution.  Instructions for checking on this can be found on this webpage from Computer Hope.
